Working Together
You don't need to have your marketing figured out before you talk to us.
Whether you know exactly what you need or simply know something needs to change, we'll start by learning about your business, where you want to go, and what might be standing in the way.
This page explains what working with Kit Friday Consulting looks like, from our consultation process to engagement options.
How We Begin
Before we begin working together, we take a few steps to learn about your business, understand what you need, and make sure the scope of work is right.
Here’s what that process looks like.
-
Start by scheduling a complimentary consultation.
We'll ask for a few details when you book so we know a little about you and your business before we meet. -
Our free consultation gives us a chance to learn more about your business and what you're working towards.
We'll ask questions, talk through what's going on, and start identifying where our expertise could be most useful.
-
Using what we've learned, we'll develop a recommended scope for our work together, including estimated hours, timeline, and investment.
We'll refine the proposal with you as needed. Once the scope is agreed upon, we'll send over the agreement and everything you need to officially get started.
-
With the agreement in place, we'll schedule our kickoff and begin putting the work into motion.
What happens from here will look a little different for every client, depending on the scope of our work together.
Ways to Work Together
There’s more than one way to work with us.
Some clients bring us in for ongoing marketing leadership, while others need support around a specific project or workshop.
We shape every engagement around what needs to get done, the level of involvement needed, and how the work will support you going forward.
Ongoing Marketing Partnership
For businesses that need ongoing marketing leadership and hands-on support.
Engagements can be structured as monthly retainers, flexible time banks, or another arrangement based on the needs of your business.
The scope can shift as priorities change, giving us room to support both longer-term marketing goals and the work that comes up along the way.
Project-Based Work
For businesses and teams that want dedicated time to work through a marketing topic, challenge, or area where they want to get stronger.
Depending on the topic, that might mean dialing in your brand, strengthening messaging, improving your team’s approach to marketing, or building a framework you can continue using after the session.
Workshops
For businesses that need help with a specific project or marketing challenge.
That might mean branding, building a website, planning a launch or sale, event management, industry research, or taking on a defined piece of work that needs dedicated attention.
Project-based work can also be a good way to work together on a smaller scale before deciding whether a longer-term engagement makes sense.
Start With a Conversation
If you’re thinking about bringing in outside marketing support, let’s start with a conversation.
Tell us a little about your business, what you’re working on, and where you could use help.
